Happy holidays to all our Doxim blog readers! As you finish out 2016 and plan for 2017, here are four ways to make your customers feel special. Next year, resolve to give them:
The gift of time. It can take up to an hour to open an account at many banks and credit unions. The culprits? Paper based or partially automated account opening systems involving heaps of paperwork and redundant data requests. This holiday season give your customers the gift of time by automating account opening and reducing it to ten minutes or less.
The gift of knowledge. Amazon can tell your customers that their package is out for delivery on a truck, so why can’t you tell them where their funds are during an asset transfer? Make 2017 the year you digitize your business processes so you can keep your customers in the know.
That VIP feeling. Studies have repeatedly shown that financial services customers want more frequent communications from their FIs. With cost-effective channels like email marketing, it’s easier than ever to provide them with value-added communications that position you as their partner in financial success.
A heartfelt thank you. Oftentimes, FIs spend time and money acquiring new customers, then either cease communicating with them once they’ve signed on, or drop them into a “one size fits all” promotional campaign featuring a standard set of services. To stand out, start thanking your customers for their business by offering them products that really suit their needs, coupled with incentives that let them know their loyalty is valued.
