Meet Doxim’s Executive Customer Advisory Board Members

David Arrowsmith

Vice President Business Solutions, First West Credit Union

With over two decades’ experience in software, e-commerce and consulting, Dave Arrowsmith is a collaborative leader who thrives on his passion for innovative, yet practical, technology solutions. At First West Credit Union, Dave is responsible for implementing and sustaining IT business solutions to grow and transform Canada's 5th largest credit union. Dave's approach effectively links technology to the business to create measurable results and accelerate innovation, while keeping the member experience front-and-center. Prior to his current role at First West, Dave held senior technology leadership roles, including Interim CIO at Island Savings Credit Union and VP, Professional Services at a Victoria-based software company. Outside of work, Dave enjoys time in the outdoors with his wife and two teenage children. He also holds a private pilot license and loves flying to various spots on the beautiful west coast of BC.

Joe Agro

Associate Vice President, Information Technology, Tandia Credit Union

Joe Agro has a long history of serving on credit union system boards, with roles including membership on the Credit Union Services Association (CUSA) Board for over 15 years; appointment as the Chair of the CUSA Technology Committee (“CTC”) from 2002-2010; Everlink Strategic Council for 3 years; and a current seat on the Technology Stream for Back Office Collaborative (BOC). Over the past 3+ years, Joe has been part of Tandia’s merger team, allowing the credit union to grow through three mergers, two performed manually. Joe has also been part of the recommendation enhancements team at Tandia, tasked with developing the credit union’s instance of CRM and LOS products from Doxim. As a past WOCCU (World Council of Credit Unions) World Youth Leadership award winner, Joe has a desire to deliver a high level of service to all.

John Trivieri

VP Credit Management, Meridian Credit Union

John Trivieri is the VP, Credit Management at Meridian Credit Union. He brings 25 years of Banking/Credit Union/Financial Consulting experience in both Sales and Credit Risk Management to Doxim’s Executive Customer Advisory Board.

Aron Rogers

AVP Application Services, DUCA

As AVP, Application Services, Aron is responsible for delivering the digital experiences that allow DUCA Members to do more, be more, and achieve more. Aron has over 20 years of experience in IT strategy and delivery.

Scott Ferguson

Executive Vice President, Information Systems, Libro Credit Union

Scott graduated from the University of Guelph in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and he holds a Certified Professional Accounting designation. Scott joined Libro in 1986 as an Account Manager. He moved on to found and oversee Libro’s Information Systems Department, which includes the banking system, information technology, software development, quality assurance, and business intelligence & analytics. He is actively involved in the credit union sector and sits on the Payments Modernization Advisory Group, a Central1 committee, as well as the Co-operative Network Services Committee. Scott has been very involved in bringing new mobile debit and credit payment platforms into the credit union industry working with other Large Credit Union Coalition (LCUC) members. Scott and his wife Sandy make their home in London. Scott is a member of the Highland Country Club, has been an active curler for more than 30 years, and he also enjoys golf and biking. He founded the “Libro Freewheelers” in 2011, a team of Libro staff and friends who participate in the annual Multiple Sclerosis Society fundraising bike tour from Grand Bend to London and back.

Mary Falconer

Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, Westminster Savings Credit Union

As Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, Mary Falconer provides financial oversight, leadership and strategic expertise for Westminster Savings Credit Union and its subsidiaries, and plays a key role in helping position the organization for long-term sustainable growth and success. She has executive oversight for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations including budgeting, tax, accounting and financial reporting, treasury, business intelligence and enterprise risk management. Mary also oversees governance, information technology, premises, procurement and contract administration. Mary has more than 28 years of financial management experience. Prior to joining Westminster Savings in 2013, she was the Group Controller at Vancity Credit Union and spent seven years as the Chief Financial Officer at a wholly owned subsidiary of a Swiss bank with responsibility for its offshore activities in the Caribbean. She also spent 13 years in professional services firms, largely in senior audit management roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young. Mary is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and has recently completed the Institute of Corporate Directors program. Ms. Falconer is an advisory committee member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and is involved in both personal and corporate fundraising for the Foundation.

Michael Elchuk

EVP & CIO, Affinity Credit Union

Michael joined Affinity in 2014 tasked with leading our IT Security Department, he assumed the role of Director, IT Security in 2017 and joined the Executive Leadership Team in February 2018. Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from York University. Additionally he is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and earned a Diploma in Operational Research. Michael stewards Affinity’s IT division and ensures we remain a technology leader in the financial services industry with his strong business acumen and broad knowledge of information systems and technology. His professional experience includes information security, application development and network/infrastructure architecture. When he has free time, Michael enjoys spending it with his two daughters and playing goalie in a recreational hockey league. He also volunteers with the Evergreen School Community Council and has recently completed a term as the Chair of the Large Credit Union Coalition (LCUC) Cyber-Security Committee.

Jim Dayman

Vice President, Direct Banking, Servus Credit Union

Jim joined Servus Credit Union in 1999 and currently holds the position of Vice President, Direct Banking. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Jim holds a bachelor of management degree from the University of Lethbridge, and a master of business administration from the University of Alberta. In his current role, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Jim is responsible for Servus's member contact center, cards products, and banking operations systems and solutions. This includes business oversight into areas such as member relationship management (CRM/MRM), core banking, patronage, and payments modernization. Jim is part of a key group of senior leaders forming Servus's Noble Purpose Council, tasked with strategic planning and decisions to further Servus's Noble Purpose: shaping member financial fitness. Away from work you will find Jim at the golf course, the lake or more likely on the soccer field with his two children.

Chad Willis

VP, Chief Experience Officer, Sunova Credit Union

Chad Willis is the VP, Chief Experience Officer, who works with all staff to ensure members and clients have the products, services, and tools necessary to meet continuously evolving financial needs. Chad believes in building a member-focused environment that is rooted in the long term success of the member, employee, organization, and communities where Sunova operates. Chad holds the MBA, Chartered Investment Manager, and CCE designations.
