Output Management
Controlling and Streamlining Statement Output
The final output options for a given job can be executed manually by the operator using the statement console. This is desirable for two reasons:
- It provides a final quality control step immediately prior to the print job commencing, which is the point at which any mistake will cost hard dollars in terms of print materials, and time
- It allows the operator to manage job priorities based on the real-time conditions in the job processing environment (e.g. when there are enough statements ready to be processed to complete a bundle based on size (either page count or file size) and /or sort options required (e.g. sort by hold requirements, which may also require additional sort by branch and account type, etc.)
Output can be selected to go to:
- Direct to Print (printer selection can be set manually or automatically)
- Direct to FTP
- Direct to Archive
In each case, the system can be pre-configured to provide the operator with access to multiple Printers, FTP sites or archives, all accessed via drop-down menu windows.

Typically, the FTP option would be used when:
- The print shop is not in the same location
- Print is outsourced to a third party print provider
It can also be used in the event of localized printer issues/failures, allowing the print files to be sent elsewhere for timely job completion.
An additional valuable feature of the Doxim BPM system is that a bundle front sheet is automatically output when a bundle is printed. This front sheet can also contain Electronic Statement of Mailing (ESOM) details. Additionally, a complete ESOM is output when a job is completed.
Finally, a production summary report can be generated for the job. This report can then be used to control the flow in the print and lettershop, or to automatically feed the print and lettershop management systems.
