Doxim Business Process Manager (BPM) is designed to support a broad range of third party job schedulers. Using automation capabilities built into Doxim BPM, the system can be configured to work with your job scheduler, scripts or remote system to:

1. Remote start all appropriate processes and services on BPM
2. Remotely decision jobs based on the status of the job as it progresses through the BPM system
3. Automatically complete all activities typically controlled by an operator

This means that jobs can be started, run and completed automatically, in a totally hands-off / lights out environment.

With many tasks, e.g. daily check processing or daily report processing, the initial data files can become available at any time of the day or night. As a result the cost of manual job oversight and scheduling is expensive and untenable. The alternative is to use programming resources to develop custom scripts to define the parameters to kick off and run specific jobs. However this can become both cumbersome and expensive when you are running hundreds of time sensitive jobs each month.

By using a job scheduler alongside the automation capabilities built into BPM, data / image files can be automatically retrieved and associated jobs can be started and completed with no operator intervention whatsoever. The system also provides email notifications along the way, advising when each step of a job is completed and providing alerts in the unlikely event of errors.

Using this Doxim BPM feature, jobs can be fully automated, saving on staff time, eliminating instances of operator error and providing much greater adherence to SLAs.
