Optimizing Search (Part 2):

In our previous newsletter, we talked about the benefits of Doxim ECM users use the advance search page to speed up their searching.

An additional step can be taken to help guide users to use the Advanced Search by not displaying the “Simple Search” on the screen. The Simple Search is the text box and field selector located in the upper right portion when in a view

This item can be turned off for any view in the system by accessing it under administration. Select the Navigation tab and uncheck “Simple Search Box.”
