Tips and TricksDoxim ECM Version 6 Tips for Administrators:
With the rollout of Version 6 of the Doxim ECM, Administrators now have the ability to better control the permission levels within each view.
How do I use “Actions”?
All company capabilities have been broken down into Actions. If an administrator would like to add an action to a particular view, they can simply assign the permission to the group or user under the “Permissions Tab”.
Example: If a Doxim ECM Administrator would like to give the “Modify” permission to the “Branch Managers” group on the “All Statements” View, they would take the following steps:
- Access the desired view and select the permissions tab
- Select the group or user
- Choose the desired permission by selecting the “Checkbox” beside the required action and click save
- Verify the permission in the list by reviewing the permission list
The screenshot opposite shows that all the available actions have been categorized into List, Read, Modify, Delete and Version Control. For more details on the individual actions please refer to the Doxim ECM Administrator Guide.
