Archive scanned and indexed documents remotely into DOXIM's central repository using DOXIM Commit Manager. DOXIM Commit Manager consists of both a server and a client component, and provides production level publishing capabilities that commit content to DOXIM ECM 's central repository.
During the commit process the metadata for each file is captured, and the files are stored within the repository.
Once stored in the central repository, employees have immediate access to accurate, up to date documentation.
How it works:- When the files have been scanned and indexed, the operator simply clicks a button to publish and upload the selected documents.
- Once uploaded, the server component takes the files and maps the metadata on a file by file basis into the DOXIM ECM repository.
- The client component then transfers the documents from the client site to the DOXIM Commit Manager Server via FTP.
DOXIM Commit Manager enables low and high bandwidth allocation, allowing you to balance the bandwidth for the various applications that utilize the Internet.
