Interprise Solutions enables e-statements for Unity savings through MemberDirect® online access

Interprise DOXIM ECM web service provides single sign on to MemberDirect® online access, enabling a better service delivery to credit union members.
Markham, Ontario : November 29, 2005 : Interprise Solutions, the leading Canadian provider of web-based document management to credit unions, today announced that Unity Savings and Credit Union Ltd will provide e-statement delivery through MemberDirect® online access, to better communicate with its members.

''Unity is pleased that Interprise and MemberDirect® are working together to develop better solutions for our members. We look forward to having member statements and cheque images added to MemberDirect® online access. This product enhancement will provide members faster access to their monthly statements, including cheque enclosures'', said Mark Michener, Chief Executive Officer of Unity Savings. ''In addition there will be easy access to older records. Unity will both improve service delivery and save on postage lowering the number of paper statements that need to be mailed. This new service is easy for members to use and reduces the need for staff to function with statements. The continuing steady growth of MemberDirect® online access at Unity, and the increasing new Member base of younger people who find that banking on the internet is their first choice for accessible and convenient banking, makes the e-Statement addition a must in our opinion'', added Michener.

''The completion of this project is timely for our Canadian credit union customers and is very strategic to our company positioning'', says Chris Rasmussen, President & CEO for Interprise Solutions. ''With growth markets pointing directly at the younger, web savvy Canadian, it's important that credit union managers embrace secure internet delivery of documents and web based document management. We are anticipating a consistent uptake of the e-statement offering by other credit unions due to the sound business case it presents, it's ease-of-use and simple deployment'' he adds.

''The service is also available through a secure portal link from credit union web sites, but we feel that access via internet banking is the most convenient way for members. Now through a single sign on to their internet banking session, members are presented with a list of available month-end statements. Members then have the choice to simply click and view their statements, download and/or print them at their own convenience. It's about as easy as it gets,'' Rasmussen concludes.
