Chris Rasmussen – President and CEO
Chris Rasmussen, President & CEO of Doxim founded the company in 2000. He is a visionary and charismatic leader, and under his guidance Doxim has become a leading supplier of document and content management solutions to the Canadian Financial Services marketplace.
Chris has worked in the electronic document industry for the past 17 years, holding a variety of senior management and leadership roles. Immediately prior to founding Doxim, Chris was Vice President, Professional Services for Ricoh Canada, a leading global provider of document imaging products and services.
Chris is actively involved with the board of Xplor – the global electronic document systems association. In 2003, Chris received his Electronic Document Professional (EDP) certification – recognized globally for professionalism and excellence in digital communication.
Patrick Masset – Vice President,Sales
Patrick joined Doxim in 2011. Patrick and his sales team are responsible for designing and implementing the sales strategies that will help guide Doxim to a dominant position serving financial service providers and their partners.
Prior to joining Doxim, Patrick spent several years managing Sales and Client facing teams as well as organizations, in both Canada and the United States, in print, packaging and communication fields. Patrick has brought his talents to prior roles at Solisco Printers as General Manager and Quebecor World as Vice President Sales, Central Region, among others.
Patrick has built a strong reputation with his customers by enabling them to grow their revenues and increase their operational efficiency through the deployment of technology and innovation.
Sean O’Donovan – Vice President Marketing
Sean joined Doxim as Vice President, Marketing in 2009. His mandate is to lead the marketing effort, helping transform market requirements into profitable products, develop online and offline marketing programs that drive incremental revenue and protect and enhance the value of corporate brand assets.
Prior to joining Doxim, Sean spent a year building a successful consulting practice in internet marketing. Before this he held several sales and marketing leadership roles at Canadian based software and hardware companies. These included stints at InSystems Corp, in Canada and the US and at Perle Systems in Canada, the U.K., France and Belgium.
Sean has developed his business skill set over 20 years working in technology sales and marketing leadership roles across Europe and North America.
Peter Saunders – Executive Vice President Strategic Initiatives
Peter Saunders is the Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at Doxim. Pete founded Impress Digital Corp. and guided the organization from start-up to its current position as a leading service provider of data, document and distribution services.
Prior to founding IDC, Peter was National Director, Client Relations and Business Development at CGI where he led a nationwide team, successfully expanding CGI’s base of banking, credit union and business process outsourcing clients across Canada. Before this, as Director, Document Technology at ISM-BC, Peter established an award-winning Telus Enterprise Solutions’ Document Processing Centre.
Peter has 20 years of experience in Canadian IT and business process outsourcing and has numerous accomplishments to his credit including winner of the 40 Under 40 Award and past leadership roles with XPLOR and BC Direct Marketing Association.
Steven Swabey – Vice President Client Care and Delivery

As Vice President Client Care and Delivery at Doxim, Steven ensures that the client experience is optimized and Doxim’s commitment to delivering excellence is achieved and consistently maintained. Steven joined the company as Director, Quality Service in 2004 and became Managing Director of Impress Digital in 2007, a leadership role with a particular focus on increasing customer and employee satisfaction levels.
Prior to joining the company, Steven was an Account Manager at CGI, Canada’s largest IT and consulting company. At CGI, he developed extensive customer service and quality management skills while working on key strategic accounts, including four of Canada’s top five largest Credit Unions.
A true believer in business process improvement and quality service, Steven is committed to ensuring that the company continuously delivers excellence in all customer interactions.
Adam Zimmer – Vice President, Process Management
Adam Zimmer is V.P. Process Management at Doxim. Adam joined Doxim in 2012, following Doxim’s acquisition of Arius Software. Adam originally founded Arius Software while he was studying at the University of Waterloo. Following a number of consulting engagements with financial customers he identified a gap in the market for a client on-boarding/account opening application that would help streamline and automate the gathering of high quality client data; Arius OpenAdvantage/Doxim AccountOpening was born to address this need.
In his role at Doxim, Adam provides support for the wealth management and investment broker sales effort and defines the product direction for the Arius OpenAdvantage/Doxim AccountOpening product line.
Ross Orrett – Advisory Board Chair
Ross Orrett has chaired the Doxim Advisory Board since 2005. He has a proven ability to build successful companies and uses his knowledge and experience to help set the company’s strategic direction as a leading provider of document solutions for financial service providers.
Ross is currently President and CEO at Camilion Solutions. Prior to joining Camilion he founded AbovePlan Corporation, a software company providing On-Demand sales and marketing solutions for insurance. Camilion acquired AbovePlan in 2005. Prior to AbovePlan, he was President & CEO of InSystems Corporation, a leading provider of document automation and relationship management solutions to the insurance and financial services industries. During his tenure, InSystems grew from a small entrepreneurial company with less than $1 million in revenues, to almost $40 million in revenues and over 300 customers.
Ross holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and is a graduate of the Stanford University’s Executive Program for Growing Companies.
