When choosing a new Automated Document Factory platform, many aspects factor in to make an optimal solution. For suppliers that work in high volume transaction output (HVTO) product platforms, it’s important to know what you need to choose the right fit.
In this article, I’ll take you through the first 5 things you need to look for in an ADF solution. Check that the ADF platform does the following:
1. Integrates with your back-end system
When implementing a new ADF platform, costs can easily sky rocket because it has minimal compatibility with your back-end system. Look for a solution that provides this compatibility so it can save you setup and integration costs.
2. Transforms your statement data
Make sure the ADF platform can transform your statement data into more aesthetically pleasing, easy to read formats so that they can be inserted into better designed statements.
3. Integrates statement design & content
Your customers today expect well-designed statements. And not only does it please the customers, it is also a strong branding effort. Be certain that the ADF platform has the ability to incorporate multiple statement templates that integrate easily with back-end system data.
4. Processes advanced statements
When designing the layout of your statement you’ll want to include specific elements that enhance the customer experience (e.g. a loyalty card points balance). You may also want to add additional documents to your statement print run such as newsletters. To save on print, lettershop, and postage costs check that the ADF platform offers these capabilities.
5. Supports statement based marketing
To make the most of your statements, statement based marketing is a great way to cross sell and up-sell existing clients with your new products and services. Ensure that the ADF platform supports targeted marketing messages.
